Daylilly Arts Inc. nonprofit organization has been awarded the VGF 9/11 Day of Service Sub Grant.  This grant requires matching funds and we are reaching out to the community for support.  Our projects will directly serve the veterans at the VA Hospital and help educate children about the sacrifices that the veterans  have made to serve our country.

Our projects will be creating “Thank You” and “In Appreciation for Your Service” cards.  Students at elementary schools will be using card stock and receive a lesson in acrylic painting along with general information about the service our veterans have provided.  Our goal is to reach 500 to 1000 students with this project the week before September 11, 2011.

Contributions can be made to Daylilly Arts by calling 801-347-1667 or may be given directly to any Zions Bank in Daylilly Arts name.  A letter will be sent home with students to describe  the activity and those who helped sponsor it.  Companies who donate prior to September 5, 2011 will be listed as sponsors.

Please call us to find out more information and join us in providing the opportunity for the children in our communities to honor those who have served us in the military at the VA Hospital and VA Home.

We appreciate your time and consideration,
