Mommy & Me - Daddy & Me ages 3 yrs to 5 yrs

Children love sharing art time with Mommy and Daddy. Mom's, Dad’s & children learn valuable communication skills while having fun with art! Parents receive information about positive, age appropriate projects and expectations. Families share quality time while creating projects and wonderful memories! Varied mediums are used such as clay, painting, drawing and crafts. This class is set up for one parent and one child to maximize child learning. Parents with more than one child may want to sign up for "Young Family" classes.

Learning to write down what a child's imagination creates is made easy for children 9 to 14 years old. Outlines, plot, charecter development and much more. Students will need access to a tape recorder and home computer.

Grandma & Me / Grandpa & Me

Grandparents get to have fun with their grandchildren in this class. By creating a scrap book of original artwork between both grandparent and child, students get to create and preserve precious works of art . Grandparents are encouraged to bring in pictures of both themselves and family members to add additional pages to the book. This gives the children an opportunity to learn about their parents and grandparents as children. Original artwork will be created in various mediums including crayons, watercolor, acrylic, paper cutting, writing fun poems and more.

From a cold, wet lump to a creative masterpiece, students enjoy the earthy feel of clay. Fun is only the beginning! Learning to pinch, punch, and slam appropriately, giggles are often heard. From fantasy to usable art, this irresistible muddy mess is molded and shaped by each student, with lessons for instruction and individual creativity encouraged.
